I discovered Daan's Creek by accident. My boyfriend at that time, Ricardo, wanted to show me around Port-Salut, we asked the "paysans" about a hotel to spend the night, they pointed out to that little "OASIS". There were not many people at that time so we had the pool to ourselves, and one of the guys turned on the whirpool...Ricardo picked me up and carried me to breakfast on the beach with the most beautiful sunrise. I have been to many resorts in the caribbean, that "Grotte", the sand...it was just amazing. I didn't get a chance to meet Katia, but Dany, u are Godsend to Port-Salut.
I enjoyed my time with your son Giovanny, i cannot wait to bring my son Giovanni as well , to run around with his dog.
Kuddos, to the whole crew of the hotel. I will be coming again early January with my husband and my cousin from Canada for her honeymoon.
I have referred several co-workers to your place and they all had a good time!

After working with the Gaskov Clerge Foundation on our medical mission to Cayes, we spent the weekend at Dan's Creek. Our experience was more than positive. We didn't want to leave. Subject: brief stay
On a recent medical missions trip to Port Salut; my wife fell ill during our field work; our friends quickly suggested that we needed to get her out of the heat. Dan's Creek was the closest place. Upon arrival we explained the urgent situation to Katia (owner) and, she quickly provided a room for my wife to rest free of charge. We were pleasantly surprised and grateful as Katia was more interested in making sure that my wife would have a chance to rest and recover than collecting a fee for a room from us... this is a classy lady and, as we found out later while walking through the grounds; Dan's Creek is a very special and beautiful place indeed. I wish we were there for longer but, had to leave with our team that afternoon for our trip back to the US a couple of days later. We will surely return to Dan’s Cfreek when we visit Haiti next. I truly recommend this location to anyone looking for a welcoming, stunning resort in the South of Haiti... for us; it was truly a memorable time.

Over the years I have heard a lot of great things about Port Salut, but never had the opportunity to visit until my last vacation, and all I have to say is this, "MY BEST VACATION EVER" and I've been to quite a few places carribean. My experience at Dans Creek was what made my time even better. This place is exactly what you see on their web site, it's quaint, intimate and very private. Absolutely beautiful, and lets not forget the amazing staff, so attentive, especially Henry. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay at Dans Creek, and Katia is awesome can't wait to return! Highly recommend this place!!!
